I stopped for coffee in the afternoon during a pouring rain, and as I got to the counter I got a text from my daughter.
"Oh sorry," I said to the barista, "my daughter was supposed to have a track meet in this rain but it's canceled."
Without looking up she wishfully said, "The meet or the rain?"
